*For areas in seismic zone 2 or greater, provide an additional 2" to hoistway width.
*Schindler can fit into 2" narrower (width) hoistways with no tolerance.
*For jurisdictions following ASME A17.1 code prior to 2009, please add 1 additional inch of overhead at 150 FPM.

Notes

Schindler recommends 8'-6" (2500 3500 lbs) and 7'-6" (2100 lbs), providing additional hoistway tolerances.
